Tessa has had residencies across some of London’s most exclusive night spots, including Soho House Group, Quo Vadis, Hoxton Hotel, Cafe Royal and beyond. She’s also a regular at in-stores and fashion parties for everyone from Topshop to Mulberry.
Tessa specialises in 50’s and 60’s music ranging from soul, blues, funk, vintage rock ’n’ roll, girl groups, doo wop and rhythm and blues. Driven by a life-long love of sharing rare tracks and lost classics, she loves to mix her set with eclectic gems spanning country, gospel, calypso, ska,Ye Ye, 20s jazz and disco.
Not taking herself too seriously, she creates a fun, uplifting atmosphere that recalls another time.
Tessa’s day job is as a music supervisor and consultant, researching and selecting original music for feature films, fashion houses and global brands. Recent clients include Gucci, Dior, Salvatore Ferragamo, Issey Miyake, Moncler, Nike, Jaguar and Apple. She also works as an A& R consultant for independent modern classical and electronic label Village Green, and runs music blog Howls & Whispers.
